I was in downtown Detroit for a little while recently for a convention, it was pretty alright. It was always funny thinking that I could just go for a dip and swim to Canada.
The surrounding area was literally a wasteland, though. It was a weird contrast.

I was in the convention centre during the day, the night was when we'd actually be out goofing off.
