forget girls in gym.

Though to be fair I think me and my friends were kinda like that too. Depends on what we were doing in gym.

Apparently, (if my understanding is wrong please correct me)
I hear in america, classes like gym they don't grade you by your skill, they grade you if "you trying your hardest".

Whats with all of these american low standards?

Uhm its the contrairy, they give you higher notes based on how hard you try.

what grade

My school requires 4 years of PE. You can get some waived ( I got 2 classes waived) if you play varsity sports. If you dont dress, participate, and be a good sport your grade lowers. And you get 1 skip day where you can go and do your homework if you want to instead of playing

But everyone loves gym at my school and on open dodgeball days we'll have over 200 kids playing dodgeball in the gym

I saw this video of a gym class, and when they were doing this ctf game, all the girls just stood back in a cluster, avoiding the ball, and screaming whenever it came to them
This is not to say, though, that this was more than one person.
The majority of girls at my school are quite athletic

I don't even take gym at my school. My old school didn't have it but I got all my required credit outside of school for it so I never have to take a high school gym class

has the gym teacher ever caught you
 :cookieMonster:

we play volleyball and stuff
m'yeah thats pretty much all

I personally am a huge weakling, and I hate gym (often times you just get sweaty n' stuff without any practical excercise) and instead of taking it my freshman or sophmore year, I am taking General Metals, which I find to be more practical. Most of my other classmates have used power tools where I have used hand tools as much as possible within reason.

Grading gym at all sounds like a pretty dumb idea because stuff like muscle growth and toning is different for every person. You can't standardize it because there's no 'standard' per se.

Gym should be a class to promote fitness and activity throughout schooling.

It should not be graded with the same system as an academic class. That's just stupid as stuff. It should be:
Did Participate Today
Did Not Participate Today

Then you set a required amount of participation days for the end of the year.

Simple as that. Move on.
