Blockland Vsync?

Does the Vsync option in Blockland even work? It doesn't seem to make an impact on performance at all. My computer runs silently when running TF2 with Vsync and low-graphics, but when I do the same in Blockland, the fan is still really loud.

using fraps (tells me the fps) I found it does limit your fps, but I haven't seen a fan change with my computer either
