Do you need to have your ports fowarded to host a LAN server
this might seem like a noobish question to u but i dont know the answer can u tell me

Mainly if you're using the same router as someone else.

But which is better to host on. LAN or internet, because I heard that on a LAN theres no lag or something like that, but no one jions.

To put it simply, ppl living in your house of which youhave to computers hooked up to the same internet wire.(except instead of wire it's router but then it gets complicated. I could go On and n about how which cables meet where an what does what(No I couldn't. I have no clue about that stuff) and how itALL works in the end)
