This basically just sums up how much of a terrible person Maxx is in a nutshell. I don't care if you act like the nicest person ever, if you are doing it to earn people's approval, you are still a piece of stuff. In fact, you are a lying piece of stuff.

So while Maxx isn't that, he's still a piece of stuff regardless. Probably even worse knowing people don't want him here with his stuffty attitude but he still stays. I'm not asking him to be nice, I'm asking him to leave. It has been proven he isn't capable of interacting with others. Either he will stay a total starfish forever, or one day he will actually grow up and realize not to be such a cunt. But into that happens he is hopeless.

Society hasn't changed. Maxx is just an easily bored kid with anger issues who has a hard time fitting in without causing trouble. I know of a lot of kids who act like Maxx. My guess is that they're trying to imitate people around them, but without proper context or understanding behind their personality, end up looking less witty and more like an ass. It's a common thing for preteens to act like this, and it's nothing new.

He isn't acting like he's uncaring, sociopathic and evil, he's acting like a kid trying to be like somebody on this forum, but doing a bad job of it. This is less of an excuse for his stuff and more of an explanation.
