steam blockland stuck at vaildating key

I was able to play 10 minutes ago before unbearable lag spikes started to kick in.
I restarted my game, and now its stuck on this.

MoR should seriously reconsider his life choices if all he wants to do is sit in his loving basement dungeon cellar and DDoS a loving game because he doesn't like it.
