Ralph Johnson: A text adventure.

this is sort of like Clockwork HL2 rp or Combine Control and this follows the HL2 universe
Your name is Ralph Johnson and you just got a transfer ticket to City 45. You take the train to get there.
You walk out of the Train Station. A big sign says "WELCOME TO CITY 45."
There is a man in strange clothing telling you to come here, in a back alley to the left.
There is a metropolice unit holding a paper in front of the Nexus. A CCA application form, as it would turn out.

What do you choose?

Go to the cop with the CCA app.

Before either one of those, try to remember your CID. Also, make sure you're wearing Universal Union approved attire. After all that's checked and assuming it's good, go to the guy in the alley. Of course, walk-- The Combine Civil Authority doesn't like it when you run.

Go to the cop with the CCA app.

You take it, sit down on a bench, and start writing.
The cop looks at it for a quick second and then throws it into the trash. "Failed.", the cop would say.

You decide to go speak to the man in the strange clothing. He asks for your name. You tell him your name is Ralph Johnson.
He says, "Nice to meet you, Ralph." He leads you through a door and down a long hallway, to reveal a room with a stove and a light. He hands you a knife and says, "Kill that officer. I can't, the CCA would know it was me." He would point to a Recruit alone, inspecting a citizen with a stunbaton in hand.

Do you report the knife to the CCA and take the path to be a cop? Or, do you kill the officer and join the Resistance.

We get to beat people bloody and then drive those cool APCs and stuff.

Be sure to be as cautious as possible when handing the cop the knife, though. It's unknown how their justice system works.

i play as a unit on a CC server i know all about this stuff
attempting to kill an officer is an amputation (death) i believe
i guess you do too?
You would look at the knife for a second.
"What's your name?" you would ask.
"Colton. Colton Freight." he would reply.
"I see."
You would close the knife, shove it in your pocket, and run away. Colton would be running after you yelling "Hey! Wait!"
You outrun him, and you pull the closed knife out of your pocket and show it to the officer standing on the corner of the plaza.
"A man named Colton Freight gave this to me. He wanted me to kill a recruit."
The officer would take the knife, look at it. He would tell you to follow him. You do. He takes you into the nexus, ties you up, and places you in a dark interrogation room.
You hear the door open. You can see the glowing eyes of a unit walk in. The light would snap on.

The unit would slam the knife on the table.
"Where'd you get this?" He'd ask.
"A man named Colton Freight gave it to me. Next to Cafe Baltic. Go down the alley, open the door on the left. Keep going straight, and you'll find him."
The officer looks at you.
"We'll be right back."
You could hear them talking outside. You hear their boots run off.

They come back a few minutes later.
"We busted him. Good job. 4 loyalist points."
The unit unties you, and sends you out of the nexus. The recruit waits for you at the steps.
He says, "Thanks for sparing me. I'll ask my boss if he'd let you into the CCA."
You say thanks, and walk off.

A few days pass. A unit knocks on your apartment door.
You open the door.
"Welcome to the CCA."
He holds up a paper with a big " 64195 (your CID) APPROVED" stamp on it.
"Get your gear inside of the Nexus."
You get your equipment and put on your new uniform. It smells nice.

You walk outside. There is a unit who needs PT partner, and a citizen requesting help.
Which do you choose?

Go try to be that unit's partner, strength in numbers, right? Plus, that citizen might just be another richard that wants to stab a CP.

Well considering I have gone around literately killing CPs with my bare hands in a roleplay before.. Yeah, that'd probably be the outcome. We should still do it though.
