OBS/.flv/WMV help

^^ worst combination of help ever.

So uh, I've been recording stuff with OBS for youtube, but the only problem is WMV doesn't support .flv, the file OBS creates. So I have to go through the trouble of converting it to avi, which degrades the quality, then combining it all together in WMV.

I hate how degraded the quality gets. Is there any alternatives to avi? is there a way of making OBS write a different file type?

Just end the file path in .mp4 in OBS

eg:
C:\Users\Username\Videos\Myvideo.mp4

It doesn't have to be mp4, but that's what I use because I am ignorant on video file types
