Using three methods of dating, this portion of Mark's Gospel is the earliest known copy of the New Testament being from 80-90 A.D., and also the first New Testament finding from the first century. If the dating is correct, this finding makes it tougher to prove that the New Testament is "not accurate" due to being too far from the events that took place. It's almost like someone writing something today about an event occurring in the 1960s.

I don't know. I'm assuming if they were able to identify it as the Gospel of Mark on discovery, it must be at least similar as well as written in its original language.
