Author Topic: Shaders??  (Read 1064 times)

Just curious, but shouldn't shaders run on my computer??

I'm running windows on a mac (dualboot).
On mac OS, shaders work, but not on windows??

That's windows 10 technical preview... That operating system is still a work in progress. Blockland could have all sorts of bugs on windows 10 at the moment. I'd suggest waiting a while or reporting this problem to microsoft(?)

Also it would be a good idea to post a console log of blockland here. Maybe it's some problem with your installation or whatever.

nevermind. shaders work. Is there a way i could go about getting shadows?

choose a setting higher than "minimum" to get shadows with your shaders

I know that, but shadows don't show.

if its intel integrated graphics, you wont get shadows with your shaders

It updated. I can run shaders on my intel gpu too
But its very slow, I prefer to use my nvidia anyway.

windows 10 is a thing!?
Yes, they skipped 9 for technical reasons.

Intel drivers recently got an update so some can run shaders with shadows.

OP, please open Blockland, join any server, then switch your shaders to something like medium then post a console.log found in your default Blockland directory. If you use Steam then Steam/SteamApps/Common/Blockland if you use the launcher then Documents/Blockland
