why are you so hostile about things that don't matter at all? it will literally never have any effect on your life or the lives of the people around you whatsoever. but you're getting mad about it and insulting people, because they like something that you don't. that's all it is, there's nothing more to it. it's not like bestiality or child enthusiasm where at the very least it could hurt someone or something, it's harmless. it's... electronic media, that you will never have to look at
That's my act. Get really pissed off at unimportant things. That how I entertain myself and let out all my frustration, so I don't take out that anger on people I know in real life.
Furthermore, this is the Internet. It's a place where people are liable to share you content at any time of the day. I'm connected to enough groups and people that this kind of stuff does show up every once in a while on some feed or another, and it makes my a little bit physically ill.
and it's not just stuff like this, it's so many other things that don't matter. nobody cares how much you dislike the creator of five nights at freddy's because people like something he made that doesn't live up to your standards.
That's kinda different. I like to believe the games industry is extremely important to me, and most of the people I talk to are connected to the industry, and so I tend to take things a lot more seriously. Am I wrong for being that angry over some starfish's success? Probably. But I still want to get my feelings off my chest and not let it affect my actual work.
I'm honestly not sure I've ever seen you upset about something that does matter
And that's not going to happen, because:
A) Things that matter to people differ from every individual since we all come from different walks of life and we all get affected by different things, and not a single on this planet can actually mark down what issues "should" matter to everybody.
B) I keep the big personal issues of mine off the Internet. I might post a story about my parent's behaviour or some Facebook fight every once-in-a-while, but that kind of stuff is more interesting than is actually affecting me.
