There's also this overarching feeling that the staff secretly despises you, like I really don't feel that a lot of the staff are on my side.

Stupid assignments

One of my college instructors just gave random ass paper assignments every week. They weren't even relevant to the course, just assignments for the sake of giving assignments. Like loving "Write 1 page about what you're doing over thanksgiving break"
And this was for a loving high level college course
