tf2 server is bork

I've put in the console commands "sv_lan 0" and "heartbeat".

And my friend says...

lan servers are restricted to local clients (class c)
and it came in a little pop-up

I even tried shutting down my god damn Firewall.
Nothing.

Help?

fun fact: i tried hosting a minecancer server as well with another friend

Did you port forward?
Did you have an exception for the server for your firewall?

lol you have LAN enabled (this is auto if you're hosting from in-game)

I didn't notice that you already tried sv_lan, but you have to reset the map after doing so.
ex:
sv_lan 0
map ctf_2fort
