Paint.NET avatars no longer uploading?

Here's something interesting. The avatar that I'm using right now was saved in Paint.NET. And it's 75x75.

Now, this image isn't uploading at all. I want it to stay at 75x75 and PNG format but I also want it to work with the forums. How do I do that?

I have resized it down to 74x74, still doesn't work. I might use a PNG Optimizer.

it's not about file size. I mean, it certainly can be, but in this case it's not at all. it's some attempted security thing that the creators of SMF added at some point, but it seems to have a lot of false positives
using photoshop's "save for web" thing works for me. if you don't have that, GIMP probably has a similar feature, and it's free
