Same Lenovo g50 and when I play gmod my mouse shuts off randomly and only works is I click and hold the mouse can someone tell me what's wrong

Just get the cheapest worst mouse on the market and you're better off.
The cheapest you could get should be +-$5.

Does this happen on other games?
Also, since you mentioned touchpad, there may be a gesture you accidentally added that does that, or one by default. Check control panel mouse settings.
