Author Topic: Cant get VCE to work (Read 1580 times)

Hi all, I just got back into blockland after a few months break, and after installing VCE, I cant get it to work at all, even a simple event such as this: http://imgur.com/riWEZI7,oxC8obH#0 (sorry for stuffty pictures). Are there any known mod conflicts? Am I doing something wrong? Or am I just being dumb?

how does that not work?
are you even testing to see if it works?
put onactivate>client>centerprint[<var:cl:money>] to see what the variable is, it should increment with each click

It just prints <var:cl:money>. It's odd that the VCE events show up, but they don't work at all.

noedit: Which is why i think there could be an addon conflict, but i'v never had this problem before.

noedit2: I deleted the addon folder, and placed the same vce file in the fresh addon file, and tried again. It again, didnt work, im going to try downloading from a different source, and see if that fixes it.

Well, turns out there arnt many downloads for VCE, i could only find one for V4, which i dont know how to use to even test it. Anyone know any links for VCE? Or could you upload one you know works?

So, it turns out that the version i had just didnt work, if anyone has a similar problem, try replacing your vce with this one: http://www.mediafire.com/download/sl8840njwj7g3kg/Event_Variables.zip Which i found in this thread: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=203042.0
