My problem is that I'm cursed with technology.
My laptop does not work properly:
1. Videos occasionally do not play.
2. Sound likes to turn off occasionally.
3. Programs wont run properly unless it's plugged in.
4. The mousepad is badly designed, so that I end up moving the mouse and clicking somewhere by accident (bad when writing documents/code)
5. To fix this, I use a mouse.
6. The mouse will not work when the laptop is on my lap. *sigh*
7. It's a brand new laptop.
My phone does not work properly:
1. When people ring me, it doesn't show up on the phone. I can only tell when people are ringing me when my phone is beside speakers, as the signal makes a funny sound.
2. Snapchat will not take flash photos on the back camera.
3. I cannot get signal when I am lying down in bed. If I'm sitting on the bed, then I do.
4. Texts do not send, but they do receive.
5. When they do send, they send upwards of 15 times.
6. My alarm works when I am awake, and does not when I am asleep.
7. The best part? I just got the phone repaired after it just wouldn't turn on again.
I'm the kind of person who keeps everything in pristine and immaculate condition. Nothing ever has any scratches, marks, or any wear and tear. I've never broken a screen or even cracked one in my life. I go through so much loving technology that just randomly breaks when it's in my hands.
Did I mention when I first got my (first) laptop this year, it arrived with a broken screen in the post? And when I sent it back, they took ages until finally telling me that they couldn't replace it and would have to refund me. Oh, and while this was happening I had a bunch of documents and presentations and website projects to complete.
I think I'm just really loving unlucky. I've lost 16 (and counting) scratch 'n wins in a row. The win rate is supposed to be 1/6.
Oh, did I mention I'm studying software development? I'm in for a fun career.
