Author Topic: Blockland Unused Plant-Errors!  (Read 1439 times)

So i decided to look in the plant errors for blockland and guess what?

Burried Oddity.

This is the burried error and it is used from V20 onward, but it was unused before.

Yay for recycling!

Version leftover.

Originally you could only have 1 music brick at a time.

Unused in everything.

A error named teams? There remains only a small error image suggesting it was cut early in development and the text was never added.

Meant for maps like slopes,it was probably removed because you could not build with this error without alot of luck.

If i had any errors can you post them? Also not counting the blockland beta and v0002. Former is because i dont have it and i never played it and latter is because i cant look in the images and i am too lazy to boot up ports'version.

EDIT:Too loud is not unused in everything.

Too Loud was used to limit the distance between music bricks.

the too loud one was because you used to not be able to have two music bricks playing at the same time
or maybe it was more than two. idk for sure how many, but there was some kind of limit when it came to the amount of music bricks that could be playing music at the same time, in the same area

You could only have one on at a time, that was it

Fixing too loud error, moving to version leftovers...

Also i looked in more of the graphics and pretty much got a heart attack half of the menu UI is unused.

And i should check if there is a 2x2f print brick in the game.

Edit:Yup there is.

Too far is still possible, there is still a building distance limit.
"/shiftBrick (some large number)" and try to build.
Stuck is possible to occur too, if you have a static shape and try to build inside it, it'll cause this error.
And again, flood is possible too. There is still a bricks per second limit, and plus the duplicator uses it.

This is for vanilla blockland, thus flood is still pretty much impossible without a modified buildbot.

All you have to do to hit the flood error is $Pref::Server::MaxBricksPerSecond = 1;

This error was for bricks that were buried in the terrain

Originally, you couldn't have too many music bricks running near each other because of audio clipping issues.

iirc this was either trying to build on bricks that were used in a minigame, or for players in a different minigame

This error came up if you tried to place bricks farther off of an edge of the map, because it would look strange

Topic locked,Ike explained everything.
