Be honest: how many people would pay attention to a safety video where it's just some guy reading and acting out the safety card? United did something like this too, and I sure as he'll was slightly more interested. This isn't too bad.

Ehhh I don't remember United doing a Safety video like this and I've been flying with them for years now, but you got a point. After being on a plane so many times now I usually just ignore the safety videos when they play really.

It wasn't exactly like this, but the same idea. In one scene, there's a James Bond esque hand to hand combat fight on top of a rail car. It cuts to the attendant inside showing more safety features as the bad guy falls off the car in the background with a well-placed Wilhelm. I thought it was clever.

Remember when the government decided to use the Doge meme?

This is almost as bad as that

I don't get why people hate this so much. Yes, they're overused memes. There's no need to turn into the loving hulk because of it. If they were to use basically any of the "current memes" they would eventually become "stale" and "old" as well. No, they don't have enough money to make a new video every quarter. There's literally no pleasing you.
