Author Topic: I've lost my motivation to host  (Read 1032 times)

For at least a good couple years, I've always been too lazy/uninspired to create decent servers, aside from FW or something where I don't have to do much work. I hate building on my own server now because I always get bored before I even build one thing. I have the ideas, just not the motivation or help. Do you guys have any suggestions?

then don't host.
I want to host, I just don't have the motivation to put my ideas into reality like I used to.

Start small, make something simple but enjoyable, but not something that puts a big work load onto yourself. Make some sort of small rpg or deathmatch or something along those lines, and then slowly build off of that.

Get some friends or forumers to help

I could help you with some things if you'd like that.

This usually does it, honestly if you need to just make random things all in one server. More than likely whilst working you'll gain inspiration some how.

Host a pre-made game mode!

host a town building freebuild where people just add their house/shop/whatever into it

Take a break. Don't spend all your time on making servers. I say take, maybe, a week off and do other games / other people's servers. That did it to me.

then dedicate your free time to something else :)
it's hardly worth it to spend a lot of time hosting servers for blockland anyway because it doesn't have that many people that play it anymore.
