Author Topic: ►►►How to replace Brick Textures entirely client sided  (Read 1997 times)

Someone should try to update all the old studs, I use the stud replacer addon, but I honestly would prefer to see my studs at any server I go to.

Anyways here is the 125% StudsV2 , ported to V21+ by me.

These do work with shaders.

I must've described it wrong, Even if it replaces the default brick textures in servers it will also override from seeing custom ones in other people's servers aswell.
No, as those have a different hash and blockland will display the custom ones correctly.

I've been on servers that have custom textures and mine simply overrides them, that is seemingly odd.

Maybe they didn't actually have custom textures because the host did it wrong.

So this will change your brick textures no matter what server your on?

I dont know about this. I like to use different brick textures to help/enhance a builds atmosphere. Just like how I use music to do the same. This just gives people more option to miss out on what I put together.

No, I know that the host did it correctly and he had Squiddeys, I had Manty's and Manty's override Squiddeys.
I even came on with a default installation and I saw Squiddeys, presumably what he had. but on my custom install I saw Manty's.

Update: I found out after a bit of experimenting if you are on a server with custom brick textures you see their textures instead of yours.
Thankfully, only a few servers do this, but it still can be considered entirely client sided since 90-95% of all servers use default
