The guy who said this(not the author of the article) is a Bing Professor of Population Studies. A Bing Professor is a professor who's received endowment from the Bing family. The Bing family are "progressives" who've been spewing this world is ending crap for years. Ironically, the Bing family is also big into construction and property. He's also been funneling millions of dollars to democrats saying the same thing about the environment. Notably Al Gore and Hillary Clinton.
