So that's how he gets them in the cloud. I've always thought that was missing, but he has it taken care of!

This has already been in affect for a long time. Badspot seems to just have gotten more proactive about actually adding files to the CDN in the last month or two.

I remember I had 2000 files to download and the zoomed in about a minute. I was like "dafuq"

He also locked down the bucket so we can't tell how many files are up there anymore

Perhaps in an update add-ons can be automatically uploaded.

I don't think he wants servers to be able to freely upload stuff. People could abuse it

I think it's great because nothing sucks more than trying to host a server with new Add-ons you've made, only to slowly try and serve 5 Clients the data at less than 1MB/s... Got to love the skewed upload/download speeds of consumer internet! (Uploading youtube videos takes... FOREVER, especially 1080p 60fps T.T)
