Author Topic: does anyone know any good headsets for the ps4? (Read 560 times)

i'm on a $100 budget, and i really need a headset. my current one is complete garbage

it has to have:

-good microphone quality (noise cancelling)
-7.1 surround sound (preferred, not necessary)
-works with pc too
-comfortable for long sessions

all help is appreciated.

I'm sure there's some better headphones out there but these are quite nice - I can wear mine forever.

the playstation gold wireless headsets have virtual surround sound (that's what i probably meant, sorry lol), but the mic quality is abysmal.

i was looking at those until i found out they barely work with the ps4, even thought it's listed that it works with the ps4.

the only other one i can think of is the playstation gold wireless headsets, but my god the mic is horrible, look up a mic test for it.

i've owned afterglow before, and i hate them with a passion. they look like the ones i have, and after just an hour of use, your ears hurt and are hot. mic quality sucked as well.

I've had good experience with a $60 Turtle Beach headset, a good mic and good speakers, but I was using it for PC rather than PS4 so I don't know how well it would work. Also my cat chewed the wires and ruined them :(
