Author Topic: Kaspersky allegedly ran covert campaign to sabotage rival firms  (Read 1343 times)

a year of kaspersky total costs 70 USD
that's not much
For an unemployed person, who has a limited amount of monthly funds, it kind of is, I'm unfortunately currently down to 15 USD and If I dared ask my parents for 70 bucks, they would say hell no.

I don't want to get too into it, but I'm not rich at all nor am I in a "wealthy" position, It took me A year to build my gaming rig because I bought each part separately every couple of months, I still only have 4GBs of ram...

you could
y'know
get a free copy of avast
i mean
they kinda give it to you
and it works
Avast used to have a stuff ton of features in free and they gutted it down to stuff now, the last AV I used was Bitdefender Free, only because it doesn't plague you with buying or popup messages, maybe I'll go back to that version of Bitdefender.

they still do though?
i don't mind the random popups all that much
as long as i'm being protected I'm OK with that

I have
and those are the exact reason you need an antivirus even if you have common sense
Unfortunately even if you had an AV, Cryptolocker could still hit you for a rather long period of time.
