Author Topic: Dedicated Server: Same network, different computer  (Read 695 times)

So right now I'm trying to get a dedicated server up on my old computer so that my main PC doesn't have to run it and take up RAM & CPU, so I can play other, more hardware intensive, games. It's running it through wine on Ubuntu, and other people can connect to it. Wine won't let me run the actual Blockland client, so I can't test if I can connect to it from that one.

However, my main PC can't connect to it at all; it gets stuck at 'Sending connect challenge request' and the server receives nothing.

Again, other people not on my network can connect; any ideas?

if you need more details just ask

No edit: Ports are forwarded (just in case yknow)

Did you enable the 'Disable UPNP' option?

Hahaha, what?

Fixed the issue, query LAN didn't get my server until I started spamming it (again).

That's strange.

Did you enable the 'Disable UPNP' option?

No.
