I always regret not being any good at spriting and working with .gifs, because I've had a great plan and the resources for a halloween avatar for 3 years now but I don't have the know-how.
I'm looking forward to christmas though as last year two forumers kindly made me an edit each, and I used one and now have another to use this year.

what are those

Essentially it's the death animation of the Metal Slug martian ufo. There are sprite sheets for it but no animations around, and I'm really bad at getting the sprites to layer over each other correctly.
It's probably really easy but I'm crap at it.

If I had that I could put a decent 'spooky' avatar together.
