Converting Steam Code into BL Key?

Hello. I bought myself a key on a key vender to learn it was actually a steam redeem key. Is there any way I can have badspot convert the redeem key into a bl key for me?

Considering the way Bl Keys are generated, can't he just generate one for my ID?
Example: If my id was 167500 then my key would start with AFDUN followed by random letters and numbers?

pretty sure he has the keys generating automatically, but he gives out blocks of keys in different methods
so your ID would fall in the block he gave to steam, and I think it'd be easier for him to give you a new key instead of trying to fiddle with adding a key in the database for you

Badspot could easily do that but he doesn't want to. It'd allow steam users to use dedicated hosting services, which would he too convebient!
