I had this dream where I was being chased by
Jason Voorhees in Walmart, and then I went to the future and
saw my mom and dad's corpses
When I woke up and I cried for half an hour.
I had a dream where I was in a chair, and wolf
that looked like chester cheetah, but had
a red jacket was about to kill me or
something, the room was full of sharp objects
like power drills and buzzsaws, I had this dream
when I was 3, and I called him "Doctor Dog"
he appears in other dreams as a passerby

does keeping dream journals and all that extra stuff actually work like everything says they do? ive lucid dreamed before but i dont have control over it

I don't know about the dream journal, but reality checks defiantly work. The best way I have been able to do is using certain techniques. The ones that have worked best for me are WILD and FILD. They are somewhat confusing to explain so if you're interested i recommend just looking them up.

trust me when i say ive researched the mind. the brain have always been fascinating to me, specifically dream states (and how the chemicals in your mind induce them)

i just dont want to believe a dream journal is necessary. (partially because i cant find enough conclusive evidence to state that they are in fact a necessary aid to lucid dreaming, and partially because im a forget at keeping up with daily activities like that, specially right when you wake up, which coincidentally is when the dreams still fresh in your mind)

I don't even have dreams anymore tbh, only when I do the sick 420blazmarjuna. But I've been taking a T-Break that still has another week to go so no sick dreams for me :c
