Author Topic: [NEWS] NYPD releases video of violent arrest of tennis star James Blake  (Read 2624 times)

is it hard to check the facts on something before throwing your 2 cents in
is it hard to tell someone context before assuming stuff
also you only provided this evidence after I said something
I'm not going to go out of my way to research something just to say something in the thread especially when your OP didn't give evidence that you're complaining about

it kinda is when there's no loving links or anything to see what other stuff this guy pulls

so because your evidence is stuff I will somehow magically know this and research myself?

i assume if you post in the thread you have some knowledge of what happened and of the cop, sorry i expected too much from people like ragequit

you are saying you can't have a debate without the other person giving you all the context and evidence of what happened, correct? too much skin off your back to do a 5 sec google i guess :/

is it really that hard to post a link to back up why he sucks as a cop

but when you search those words he showed you it's at the goddamn top

want me to put it on a silver platter n change ya diaper too
no I want you to put it in your op
for forgets sake stop taking the high ground when you made the mistake

what you think people are supposed to say? "oh you didn't make any effort to identify this man correctly before slamming him on the ground, its ok everyone makes mistakes though you are fine" no. that isn't how this works.
keep in mind this cop has been sued 4 times for excessive force in his 4 year career. he didn't even log the incident in his end of shift report. he was accused of punching a driver in the face and said "no he bit my fist" ( i can't even make this stuff up). how many mistakes do you believe a cop can make before he is held accountable for their actions?
police are literally people too, with their own lives, hopes, dreams, and also will to live
one guy forgeted up, has consistently forgeted up, and based on his past will continue to forget up and should no longer have his job (or even have had his job at the time of this event)
that doesn't mean other cops should take the flak for it, but i suppose restrictions will probably be added for prevention's sake

i agree with this however cops should be held more responsible for their mistakes instead of the "9 strikes and you get desk work for a few weeks" system that a lot of police departments have these days

yeah the punishment should be harder on members of law enforcement.
you take a risk when you let someone who has already shown to be a violent person continue to have a firearm, then telling them to go patrol or something
especially when they've proven that several times

There's already rules in place for most departments.

You have to document everything you did and why you did it. If there is a discrepancy in your reports that the defense finds, you will get chewed out hard, I mean really hard.

If you lie in court you lose your job and you will be black listed from testifying.

what the forget kind of logic is this lol

could have just posted the link for him in the first place, that wouldn't take more than 5 seconds either
