the simpsons is alright, but it's one of those series that have been around so long that it's kind of hard for them to adapt into newer cultures
remember, the simpsons started airing when reagan was president, the internet hadn't been made yet, and the USSR still existed
now they're in an age where selfies and internet trends reign supreme
