something about this post is so you. I can't explain it and it won't do any good to ask me what I'm talking about because I don't know. but if I had just seen this sentence on its own somewhere, I'd have guessed it was you who said it

other than that, it's just a bad post. you intentionally didn't explain yourself. why not? idk. I'd say that you did it to get some extra attention from people asking you how to do it, but to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if you never had any intention of actually telling anyone what you're talking about in the first place
what the hell
ok
also it has to be the last post.

why do you always have a stick five feet up your loving ass
cause he likes it

I thought it was 90 days...

Its only annoying when you have a server topic that you want to start back up and Badspot never responds if the op asks him to bump it.

You could probably find a way to have a bot account bump it, but I'm not sure if those violate the TOS.  I know that Swollow had a bot for distributing keys for the post like/dislike forum mod.  and idk if Idle had a bot attached or not.

idle's bot just stayed logged in, and all you need to do for that is do something every fifteen minutes, which would include refreshing a page on the forum
swollow's just sent PMs, and if I remember correctly it only did it when you sent a message to him first, which isn't so bad
but idk if you'd be able to get away with making a bot post publicly. in any case, there's no real reason you need to tell people it's a bot, soooo

I think it should at least let us quote from the thread

You can quote from older (unlocked) threads by using the clicking "Quote" and copying it from the quick reply feature

example:

You can quote from older (unlocked) threads by using the clicking "Quote" and copying it from the quick reply feature
You can find this in your Look and Layout Preferences under "Use quick reply on topic display"

Also, for locked topics, I just do a bit of JavaScript hackery.
Quick Reply: doQuote(<message ID>, '<session ID>');
Post Reply page: insertQuoteFast(<message ID>);

Kind of a pain, but at least it works. For example:
To find out which people I needed to ban.
