I'm no expert but I'm fairly certain that "double" is the literal opposite of "half". If that is legitimately what it means then whoever came up with that expression should be shot
Depends on how you look at it.
In the dutch language its "dubbel plooien" wich litteraly translates to bend double

i have contacts but i only wear them if im going to the gym or if its summer, because when you step out of a cold building your glasses fog up like stuff and if your running and thus sweating or w/e then your glasses just feel odd and in the way

about every other time of the year im wearing glasses

Soft contact lenses are made of hydrophilic plastics called hydrogels, so they'll stick to whatever's wetter. Make sure your fingers are completely dry before you try to put a lens in.

but i had decorative lenses, they looked p cool once you got em on

but you get better and doing it over time
