Author Topic: How the forget do I remove "dripkix"  (Read 985 times)

So my sister somehow managed to get adware called dripkix or something. (Seriously, I aint even mad, thats amazing. You have to be really stupid to get something like that) And I cant get that stuff removed. Tried deleting the folder. Cant because stuff's opened somewhere. Killed proces in task manager but it instantly restarts so I cant really delete.
CCleaner doesn't pick it up anywhere and most anti virus are stuff. It also blocks acces to the malwarebytes site somehow.
I cant enter the site in her pc but I can on mine.
help

Restart your computer in safe mode and remove it

Boot from a windows install disk and delete the file.

Check your browser extensions as well

1: Go onto a different computer and download portable malwarebytes onto a flash drive
2: Put the flash drive into the infected computer
3: Run malwarebytes

Restart your computer in safe mode and remove it
