I think this is because the first section of BL keys are sequential. I think Kalphiter had a list of keys (this was many years ago) that followed this pattern and it went like
ID 0 AAAAA-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
ID 1 AAAAB-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
etc
