Author Topic: Craigslist Person Thinks im lying  (Read 543 times)

So a few weeks ago i found a husky, he was brown and white with blue eyes, male, about 11 months, so i posted an add on craigslist and said i have found him, not giving a description as i didn't want someone saying he was theirs when he really wasn't, anyway, shortly after posting this the husky then perked his ears up and just looked out the window, then he ran out the doggy door, waiting a few seconds i go outside and realize hes gone (this dog can jump loving high, so he might have jumped over my fence) since i don't have a craigslist account i don't know how to delete the post, tonight i got a text who asked me, "will you put him up for adoption if you don't find the owner?" to which i reply "no'' as i know what the pound will do if no one adopts him, "he then replies "So your keeping him?" "Well, no, but if i still had him i would put him up to adopt (only so he doesn't think i'm a dog napper) But he seemed to have found a spot in my fence to escape and he ran away." he then replied sarcastically "sure." I then asked him to describe the husky to me to make sure he was/wasn't the owner. This person says his is grey and white, fixed, with one ear down. The one i found was brown and white. I then politely told the person "I'm sorry, i have a different one, i hope you find yours though, good luck." to which they reply, "So you still have him then?" To which i reply "No, as i said before, he ran away." they replied "yeah right." I get frusturated and reply "If i still had him i would've said so." i haven't gotten a reply yet, i'm worried now that i know the dog was a he. and why was he so reluctant to believe i didn't have him, he ran away!

what a wacky situation

Go to his house and beat the stuff out of him

if you had a dog that didn't live at your house normally, why did you leave a dog door open...

also that person probably isn't even missing a dog. so don't get too worked up about them thinking you're lying

i as well have 2 husky's one is 13 years old and part wolf, the other is 8 months old and is white siberian/malamute mix, im afraid if they do know where i live, they might mistake my dog as one of theirs.
