It's the concept of saving anything of value, not specific currency. You can save steam wallet funds and spend it on some new title release that's $60 or you can blow it on hats or keys or whatever like some handicap. Likewise you can save your paycheck to save up for a vacation or you can blow it on stupid meaningless short term stuff.
