Ok, so I wrote my paper on a modified version of Clown's suggestion.

Problem: Can't think of a topic (heh).
Solution: Ask strangers on the internet to think of one for you.

Let's see how this pans out...

I just wrote a 700 word essay with several sources and made a four minute speech out of it by waiting until literally the last minute. I woke up an hour before class, used a portal to search for relevant trustworthy sources, and threw stuff into an essay and called it good.

I'm glad I'm good at writing essays, because had I not done this project, I'd have automatically failed the entire course. I also knew about this assignment and it's due date since literally the first day of class.
