Author Topic: [video] Rube Goldberg Machine  (Read 1216 times)

I made this in the past 3 days and I've just finished it, so I've asked vita to film it for me due to his quality editing.
I do not approve of the music used in the video.

EDIT: Here's the save file, for those who want to try it out for themselves. Make sure you have your physics settings on best and that you're not missing any bricks.

really cool, you should make a huge one that lasts for ages.

the music is a bit annoying though

The problem is, after a certain amount of bricks the physics starts breaking and bricks go through each other, causing it to not work.
In my machine the button fake-kills all bricks simultaneously and physics takes place next.

Making sets of certain bricks fake kill after a certain delay after a press of a button could make that possible though, overall i thought this thing is cool i haven't seen many things done with physics since it came out.

I thought of that too, but that is most likely going to not work since the chain reactions don't always take the same amount of time to happen.

Technically knocking a bunch of stuff down doesn't qualify as a rube goldberg but still cool none the less
