Author Topic: i just replaced some things in 'local disk (C:)' on accident  (Read 555 times)

right so i sort of forgeted up here lmao

long story short i forgeted up restoring a folder for a game and it ended up pasting everything into 'local disk' unknowingly and replaced quite a bit of things within it

is there any way i can recover a previous, more recent version of it without some third party tool? i have a system restore point from the 10th of this month this year so i'm prepared to do that, but i had also finished installing a couple games since then so im just wondering if there's any other way to do this without having to go through the trouble of reinstalling them with a p slow connection

roll back your computer 10 minutes?

don't think that's possible unless i had a restore point set

im gonna go ahead w/ the system restore, further searching hasnt given me much more hope, thanks for the suggestions

OK SO A SYSTEM RESTORE DIDNT WORK AT ALL

but, luckily though, after a restart nothing seems to have really stopped anything important from working or nothing important got replaced in time yet im still unable to find any previous versions of local disk so

i'll try to start cleaning it up myself

What have you done
