Author Topic: looking for a moderately good surround sound system for around $100  (Read 567 times)

is there any reason why you wouldn't just buy a good pair of headphones

You will not find a decent set for just a $100. I would instead save up some more and get a really good one.

I would save up and get a BOSE sound system. I have it, and no complaints here.

I love BOSE, I have their earphones for about 3 years now, and it has only a little damage to it, works perfectly still. It was like $100 but worth every penny.

Yes, I would save up for BOSE's surround sound system too, it will be worth it and should last for a long time.

Im trying to pick a decent pc surround set.
Its hard. So many of the high rated ones just look so cheap. Its hard to trust what to buy.

My speakers are like 5 euros but are fine imo. Probably because I have never experienced other speakers
It gives a buzzig sound when the volume is too high tough

I have bose in ear headphones for around 150 and they are loving amazing.

Their sound systems are unbeatable imo

I have some turtlebeaches x32 that I picked up for 60 bucks on sale. 10/10 for the first 3 months then they pretty much started disintegrating and now they're 3/4ths duct tape.

I've had a full set of wireless surround sound speakers sitting around my house since I bought a new set last summer. Unfortunately, I'd be looking more in the $300-$500 price range if I were to sell them.

Im not seeing how headphones could be a viable substitute for surround sound. They're used for the exact opposite reason of eachother.

Its like telling someone to get a get a desktop computer when they ask for a laptop.
