yeah, I get what you mean, but sometimes it's nice to have some extra buttons, like when you're on tf2 and have some instant chats, like assigning "MOUSE5" to "Thanks!" or something like that

to me, it's more of a niche than anything really useful

im pretty sure YOU only need 4, not everyone else, and other people play differently and might use the mouse differently

I have 7 and 3 setups for each profile so total I have 21 buttons on my mouse and it's super nice for controlling my music and blockland because I can bind every thing to my mouse like the duplicator/wrench/wand/auto jet

i dont find them that useful but only cause i cant be bothered to actually bind them to something i could use, but imo they are nice if you use macros and stuff
