Exactly what makes v9's have 'mroe pwn' than mine? What extra features does it have, and where exactly did you get this information? Have you tried v9's yet?
No one has tried it yet, of course, but it's quite obvious that the version of the events system that the maker of the game is making will be better. That's not necessarily implying yours isn't good, but he has access to edit game functions and even the game's engine which you would have to find workarounds to do, which would make his more efficient. And given the amount of time he's spent developing them, they're most likely going to be rather good.
And that brings us to the point of why Space Guy's events system exists, he was providing for the community. He's not trying to compete with Badspot (At least, I don't think he is). Badspot was taking so long with v9, after he released that video people kept on wanting it right now, I guess that's how impatient the world has come. Space Guy was just providing a replacement mod until the time that Badspot's version is usable, and you all should be grateful for that.
