Author Topic: Old abandoned Honda CT70 might be mine  (Read 1226 times)

So I went riding my bicycle, exploring neighborhoods near me, and I found an abandoned house and I decided to look around the outside, where I found... This

An old Honda CT70, I was amazed so I went to the neighbors to locate the old owner, gave the old owner my phone number, and I might have scored a free project!!!

Whatcha think?

you just gonna let it sit around or are you gonna try and restore it? i doubt it actually works and getting that thing nice and in working condition is gonna really take a lot from your wallet

It actually may be a cool restoration project if OP has the time, energy and resources for it.

those tires look like theyre in strangely good knick.

are you sure you found this in an abandoned yard, or your own back yard

This is probably gonna be expensive and time-consuming. GL though!

this

if you're hoping to get a cheap machine out of this, you're better off just buying one that already works. If not, looks like it could be a fun project!

abandoned, anything like this in my yard would be running, and my yard isnt that unkempt, just some tall grass, gonna mow tomorrow

actually gonna restore it, ride it around to my summer job, around the back roads in my yard

thx, im extremely excited for this,

it does look fun. and to save a penny, all aftermarket and owner sold, might not be the most trust-worthy sources but im not looking for original, just get it running, and ride the hell outta it

thanks for the GL and positive feed back, owner should be in town tomorrow so we can work up a deal, or me taking it (with her consent of course!)

Looks like it would cost more than it's worth to repair it

*bump*

quick question, when i get it, what should i paint it? i want it matte, nothing shiny or nothin

the price to restore that trash is gonna be way too much
