reasonable feminism that wanted actual equitable treatment is a-ok
modern feminism is some horseshoe theory stuff which, if it stays the way it is now, will completely reverse everything that feminism achieved in the first place

third wave feminism is a cancerous tumor located on the gooch of society

Equal opportunity where it makes sense. loving with the standards the US Marines have just to get women in is a really stuffty idea, and women in combat roles in general is a very iffy issue.

And of course, as said earlier:
third wave feminism is a cancerous tumor located on the gooch of society

i think it's another thing that gets blown way out of proportion a lot. as long as men and women are biologically separate, feminism will always have its place. you're never going to reach a point of pure sociological equality when there is something clearly and tangibly unequal. but you can get pretty close to the point where it's nearly only incidentally problematic.

in western society, i don't think any major movement can really accomplish too much, once newer generations start replacing the old ones there probably won't be much left to talk about. women have equal access to political tools, even if at the moment their representation isn't quite proportional (though in reality you really want representation of ideology rather than biology, which most people understand on some level)

Any -ism that creates an "us versus them" mentality is not a good one.
That said, a lot of civil rights -isms have taken it to that.
Including feminism.

blocklandism

we attack tomorrow

we all share this planet we should be pretty equal
nobody should have more birth rights than the other person

I was going to say this almost verbatim.

I was going to add that feminism ought to change its message to something a little closer to "don't treat anybody any better than anybody else." Concise and truthful. It's how I live my life.

Feminism is fine when its a thing about equality.

It is not fine when its a thing about superiority.

That being said, I am not an activist for any movement whatsoever so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Feminism is good when its a thing about equality.

It is not good when its a thing about superiority.
