i think it's another thing that gets blown way out of proportion a lot. as long as men and women are biologically separate, feminism will always have its place. you're never going to reach a point of pure sociological equality when there is something clearly and tangibly unequal. but you can get pretty close to the point where it's nearly only incidentally problematic.
in western society, i don't think any major movement can really accomplish too much, once newer generations start replacing the old ones there probably won't be much left to talk about. women have equal access to political tools, even if at the moment their representation isn't quite proportional (though in reality you really want representation of ideology rather than biology, which most people understand on some level)
