If your talking big updates than probably not for quite some time.

But for smaller ones then yeah

i am Frequency and i can confirm this

There are updates but to be honest not much improvement

I remember the debacle between Baddy and Heed where he brought up how since v21 almost nothing has change, and you kind of have to agree with him. Since terrain's were removed from the game in order for shaders, nothing really new has occurred besides BL getting the Steam treatment.

Only changes made that I've noticed have been to the script of the game/bug fixes/crash fixes. All of this is really unfortunate tbh as there's so much room for adding on alot more (not improving mind you, in the current state the game is still good as it's always been).

And I'm not bashing BL at all, I've always loved this game and always will, but it relies on Add-On's now instead of actual content releases whether you agree or disagree with me, which isn't how this should work necessarily given the circumstances of removed content which made room for more content to be added in.

I'm aware Baddy and Rotondo are currently developing two other games, but why haven't there been more... how do you put it... "community efforts" to improve the game? I mean there's Add On's as previously mentioned, but I mean real official changes to the flow of the game. I mean just take a look at this list that heed suggested.

i think i've listed this before..

suggestions list:
WaterPhysicsVehicle class
Helicopter Class
packet size increase (playertype downloads corrupt because more than 1kb of animation names/causes ghosting lag)
.ifl download support
vehicle physics improvement
turn the terrain mission editor into a brick terrain mode. make it so you can use brushes to sculpt terrain out of a 4x4, 8x8, or 16x16 cubescape plane.
setNodeColor for items
can we even remove/move the groundplane?
more images slots/ability to mount multiple images to one slot
environment zones
water improvement (still no waves!)
buildable vehicles
technics bricks/moving parts
moving objects support (if I stand on a moving platform, I should move with the platform)
better light effects ie spotlights
raise projectile speed
better light effects ie spotlights
raise projectile speed
player turn limit (like 45 degrees for mounted turrets) and player turn speed cap
projectile collision models
increase brickcount
anti water zones/bricks
bigger than a copy of unity

i don't care about hats as long as we get some new gameplay features and fixes.
-end quote stuff-

some of these things may not work/may be too difficult as I'm not well versed in the coding of Unity or how it operates, but these seem like some changes that could heavily improve the game and give it a breath of fresh air.

You would get a more serious response in general discussion.

I mean just take a look at this list that heed suggested.

hey that's actually pretty dandy, would the locked topic script work for topics that are too old also?
