So I want to update my ram on my laptop, but I don't know what type of ram stick to get and how many pins it needs, the laptop is a toshiba c50d-b-120 laptop and what I want is a 4gb ram stick that fits into it

Also please don't tell me to go to the local computer shop and ask as he will charge me.

Ok so I've checked the wiki and it might be a 204 pin stick, but I'm worried about the size of it

OT: You are looking for a stick of DDR3-L memory at 1600MHz. For future reference DDR3-L sticks are 204-pin SO-DIMM modules.

This is your best bet. Crucial are one of the old-school manufacturers for memory and can be trusted IMO.
