Author Topic: Trying to aim without aim assist  (Read 3831 times)

I just realized that I NEVER adjust my sensitivity for any games I play on PC.

Maybe that's why I suck balls at Counter Strike...

Whoa
Thanks for the rant bud, pretty sure you blew a fuse there.

I explained the entire concept of aiming in video games in the most concise and to-the-point format possible. But I guess if it hurts your feelings it's a rant? Just face it, you suck at aiming, and your mouse settings aren't to blame. You are wasting time watching overly brown townytical videos and worrying about the size of your mouse, none of it means anything at all. A veteran gamer with a $10 Logitech mouse will BTFO any dumbass with his +$3000 razer 500 button garbage who spent the last 10 years studying "mouse grips".

Just get comfortable with the mouse and it's settings and then just go play Call of Duty for 3 hours. That will teach you more about how to aim than 500 15 minute long youtube videos about le mlg trash. As a matter of fact that stuff will probably just complicate stuff and make you worse at aiming.

yeah I've always been able to do fantastic with my Logitech m305. it's a cheap and simple mouse but like pretty much every other, as long as you are comfortable, you'll be fine

For the sensitivity thing, anything around .5 to .9 is pretty nice
Sensitivity numbers are completely arbitrary, not absolute. A sensitivity setting for you can be completely different from the same sensitivity setting for him, because it depends on things like his mouse's DPI. So you really can't recommend a setting

Higher sensitivity is better if you want to be able to react quickly. Precision comes from practice.

I'm also gonna use raw input as well. Probably gonna make me even worse. (don't judge my preferences ok)
