Author Topic: Blockland often freezes after I tab to another program  (Read 1076 times)

I often play Blockland and keep websites open and I change between then, but sometimes when I click anything else and then go back to Blockland the game freezes for a while and then it goes back to normal, sometimes it will freeze and I can't go back to play unless I close the game and re-open it, not sure why this is happening.

OS? What's your model of computer?

Been happening to me to, I'll alt tab out and as soon as I do my game crashes completely, can't access it at all and sometimes I have to close it via task manager when this happens.

This has happened to me in the past. It seems that Blockland has a problem with alt-tabbing and the window going out of focus. Consider running Blockland in borderless. Do you also have a problem with starting the game after it crashes?

Nothing happens right after I start the game, it just takes longer to show up than usual, and if I tab out of it, it will most likely to freeze, that is incredibly annoying, I'll try to make it bordeless to see if it fixes it.

Well forget, no luck.

noedit: i have no problems alt-tabbing while playing in windowed, but the program will run noticably slower in the BG due to how windows or the processor allocates processing time or something.

If anybody has the time, try running TimerResolution to see if that fixes your problem (and change the resolution time down)
