Author Topic: Mismatched maxWheelSpeed for vehicle between client and host. Issues?  (Read 582 times)

I've noticed before that if I edit the maxWheelSpeed or engineTorque of a vehicle add-on like Vehicle_Speedkart, then join a server with speedkarts and drive one, sometimes the driving will be 'choppy' and your screen sort of jumps sometimes like you're lagging.

I'm currently hosting a server that uses an edited Vehicle_BikePack, and I think people might be having this 'choppy driving' issue.

Is this even possible, and is there a way I can fix it so people don't have 'choppy' driving on my server, while keeping my edited version of the vehicle?

this kind of issue should only exist if you edited them while the server was live, i believe. if you did reset your server and this issue is still apparent, you could/should just rename the datablocks.
